Business in the Community mobilises business for good. Its members commit to improve the way in which they manage their resources, be that their people or the planet. Its power is the unique platform this creates for collaborative action.

We work across four areas of expertise in the Workplace, Marketplace, Environment and Community. By sharing knowledge and experience, and developing innovative solutions, we are a catalyst for change and a demonstration of the positive impact business can have in society.

Membership of Business in the Community is an active commitment. Members recognise the relationship between responsible business practice and the role this plays in creating wealth, building confidence and addressing social and environmental need.

We are one of The Prince's Charities. Our top campaigning priorities are tackling climate change and developing the talent and skills of the existing and future workforce.

    Our members work collaboratively to address key social issues and the needs of their local communities in relation to education, employability and economic renewal.

    We support and engage our members to reduce their carbon emissions through The Prince's May Day Network on Climate change.

  • In the Marketplace

    We support and engage our members in how a company innovates, sources and markets their products and services to ensure they generate revenue with integrity.

  • In the Workplace

    We support and engage our members to speed up the introduction of responsible and inclusive employment practices and meeting the UK’s talent challenge.

  • Internationally

    Businesses that operate internationally need to address relevant economic, environmental and social issues in all the markets and communities in which they work. To support this we provide access to in-depth understanding of global markets and local communities through the CSR360 Global Partner Network and ENGAGE.
