The CommunityMark is a new national standard which recognises business excellence in community investment. 

The CommunityMark is the highest achievement for companies that are able to demonstrate the long term positive impact that they are having in their communities.

Open to companies in the UK of all sizes and sectors, this unique standard has been developed in consultation with companies, public and voluntary sector organisations, and is supported by HRH The Prince of Wales.  The CommunityMark is given on the basis of independent evaluations of management processes as well as impacts on the community and the company.

The 21 pioneering businesses to achieve the CommunityMark are: Axis, Barclays, Blackburn Rovers Football & Athletic Club, BT, Contract Scotland, Deloitte, Design Links, Elementus, Ernst & Young, GlaxoSmithKline, HBOS, Heart of Midlothian Football, KPMG, Marks and Spencer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Rangers Football Club, RWE npower, Sainsbury's, Tesco, The Town House Collection, Zurich Financial Services (UK).
