Big Tick winner 2008
BHP Billiton, North Wales Police, North Wales Fire & Rescue, DangerPoint
Power in Partnership Award for Excellence 2008
Tom Barham, Fundraising Manager for North Wales Police and DangerPoint Trustee PACT Development ManagerThis is an excellent example of a genuine multi-agency partnership coming together with leadership, vision and ambition to meet a genuine society need. Without the partnership and the confidence it gave to other partners, funders and stakeholders it is doubtful that we would have managed to get this project off the ground at all. BHP Billiton’s contribution is an excellent example of genuine corporate social responsibility where they have had a sophisticated approach to creating a sustainable legacy around addressing a real need in the community.
