East Midlands

The East Midlands is England's fourth largest region.  It has a population of 4.3 million and covers 15,607 square kilometres. There are six counties; Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, and Rutland. The main population centres are the cities Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Nottingham and Northampton.

Unlocking Talent: East Midlands Debate

As part of an ongoing regional exchange on talent, the East Midlands will have an interactive programme that will involve Phil Hope MP, Minister for the East Midlands. We will showcase great examples of what companies are doing to develop talent in creative ways.The East Midlands Debate will be on Monday 13 October 2008 at Portland College, Mansfield.
