Todd Stitzer

Todd is Chief Executive Officer of Cadbury, responsible to the Board of Directors and shareowners for executive leadership of this international confectionery company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
With over 50,000 employees and operating in over 60 countries, the company’s brand portfolio includes regional and local favourites such as Cadbury, Trident, Halls, Dentyne, Bassett’s, Bubblicious and Trebor.
Todd, a Harvard and Columbia Law School alumni, joined Cadbury Schweppes North America in 1983 as assistant general counsel after practising mergers and acquisition law for several years in a large New York law firm.
In 1988, Todd became vice president and general counsel to the worldwide beverages stream and, in 1991, moved to the UK as group development director responsible for strategic planning and external development.
He returned to the US in 1993 as vice president of marketing and strategic planning for Cadbury Beverages North America and held a succession of increasingly responsible sales, marketing and general management roles.
In 1997, he became president and chief executive officer of Dr Pepper/Seven Up Inc and then became chief strategy officer at Cadbury Schweppes in March 2000. Todd was appointed deputy chief executive officer in December 2002 and became chief executive officer in May 2003.
